Here is a link to some of my photos from the first "Wild Ride At The Zoo." I really have to give a
standing ovation to the entire Zoo staff and Joe Yachanin Marketing & P. R. Specialist at the Cleveland
Zoo who came up with this idea.
Placed was filled with every type of cyclist, having fun, riding the perfectly maintained hilly roads, that
were well designated, and properly staffed at every point to make this first evening ride through the
Zoo everything I had hoped for when it was announced.
PLEASE MAKE IT MONTHLY!
After signing in, it was obvious this was going to be a fun evening on a bike.
The idea of biking amongst the animals had really grabbed the public, and they showed up.
The White Rhino did not know what to make of all of the riders.
And it was a steady line of riders stopping by.
Up to the high ground of the Great Apes.
Coming down it was amazing to look out and see Giraffes and Ostriches running next to you!
Everyone having fun!
What is everyone looking at?
The the King of Beasts!
One of Great Lakes Courier's Go-Pro Tripods, Mike Hoffman takes a still of the lion.
Bike Cleveland was there, but of course.
Director of Bike Cleveland Jacob Van Sickle, talks with a rider.
Ray's Indoor Mountain Bike Park was there to help, with helmets and talk about their great facility.
One last look as I left brought another smile to my face, at what a great event it was.
